فعلا أن”الثالثة ثابتة” مقولة تصح أن تُطلق على المنتخب العماني، هذا الفريق الذي تأهل لنهائي كأس الخليج ثلاثة مرات متتالية، خسر النهائي مرتين في الدوحة وأبوظبي وربح الموقعة الثالثة على أرضه، فكانت”الثالثة ثابتة”، البطولة الأخيرة استضافتها عمان للمرة الثالثة، احتل الأحمر العماني المركز الأخير في أول مرتين استضافت فيهما عمان البطولة، وحققت البطولة الغالية في المرة الثالثة، فــ “الثالثة ثابتة” و “فال خير” لعمان!
