These are just two of the many continuous and repeating questions that are asked by every person who is watching this flavorless World Cup. I have written an article previously discussing why video and goal line technology should be used in gigantic tournaments like this one, England’s game could have turned out differently if Lampard’s goal would have been rightfully given, and so would have Argentina’s clearly offside goal by Carlos Tevez would have been disallowed giving Mexico a different morale, so I think so far my point has been proven. As for the annoying Vuvuzela, with its sound pressure similar to that of a jack-hammer, I did not see this coming. It is a duck raping irritating sound of plain and constant level of whining with a sound pressure of 120 dB (the threshold of pain) at 1 metre (3.3 ft) from the horn opening.(علشان تتوظح الصورة يا جماعة)

How many people have said this so far “يمعود هل كاس العالم ماله طعم” most if not all agree on that phrase. So the question is why? Does playing for your country still mean as much to players getting paid in the hunderds of thousands and millions of Euros as it did before for countries like England, Nigera, France and other national teams? Is the Vuvuzela to blame for hindering communication on the field between players as we have seen on several clear occasions?
Have you not noticed a lack of attendence of the usualy colorful and cheering fans as we have seen by previous World Cups, is the bad reputation of South Africa being a crime infested dangerous place responsible? Or does it all come down to the immense pressure and modern day media coverage that affects players that have been said that will shine and this would be their tournament, players that have proved the opposite, players like Rooney (والله لو عبدالعزيز المشعان بداله شن سوى أكثر منه) and Cristiano Ronaldo who in my perspective (ما يستاهل الكابتنة) and as for Leo Messi who is obbsessing with getting a goal (كل شي اب وقته حلو يل قزم…لا تستعيل على رزقك)
Truth is, all these factors have contributed to make this World Cup seem like a very ordinary tournament, nothing “World Cupy” about it. The first round was painfully boring, game in and game out,( إلي ماكان في النوم او يبي انام اتوقع كان إطقلة امباراة، على الشوط الثاني ولا أهو خامد.) The roung of 16 so far proved a little more exciting, I mean it has to be it’s a win or lose situation and yet we have seen teams standing back, although all praise goes to fearless Germany that isnt afraid to push through their opponents whomever they be even if it was the Three Lions, who in reality looked like toothless nudered cubs.
The World Cup in Africa so far is a mistake, yes I said it and I’ll say it again, if the World Cup has gone down to this dull level, then the World Cup being held in Africa is a blunder. This has nothing to do with race, just reality. In the end all we have to say really is “يمعود هل كاس العالم ماله طعم”
