This is the modern world. I’m going to make like an advertiser and say who needs to carry a whole laptop to the library, to the café, ruining a shoulder or two in the process? Get a netbook! If you are one of those who don’t know what a netbook is, number one, you are behind. Number two, a netbook is a mini laptop. Usually the storage is less, it doesn’t have a place to put CDs and the screen is obviously smaller. But I cannot live without my netbook. It is super-light and cute and you can carry it to the library and all around town and work on stuff in cafes without having to carry some horrible heavy thing and take it back home instead of spending that time chilling in Holland Park. It is an incredibly convenient device to complement your regular laptop (which has basically replaced the desktop these days) and makes it much easier for you to do your work… wherever you are.
